The Science News Briefing for the NPOESS Preparatory Project (NPP) was held at the James E. Webb Auditorium at NASA HQ on the 12th October 2011.<br /><br />NPP is the first of a new generation of satellites that will observe many facets of our changing Earth.<br /><br />Launch is scheduled for October 27th from Vandenberg Air Force Base.
